How to Get Ashlee Simpson’s Sexy Wavy Blonde Curls Hairstyle

New mom and bombshell Ashlee Simpson sports sexy wavy curls and heres how you can GET THE LOOK

***For you lovely ladies who have curly/wavy hair already straighten your hair prior to these steps!***

1) Using a volumizing or texturizing spray apply a dimed size amount throughout the hair and make sure you massage it in, stylist Garren insists the rubbing motion creates body and texture! Try using  Aveda Volumizing Tonic.

2) Separating hair into sections, take a wide barrel curling iron and begin to wrap small pieces of the hair actually around the curling iron. F.Y.I: Wrapping hair is different from the traditional curling method. You don’t want to ‘clip’ hair into the barrel. Wrapping allows you to curl all the way to the root.

3) Using pins, I suggest “DUCK” clips roll the curl gentle and secure with the clip.

4) Alternate directions on every other curl to create dimension and texture.

5) Once your curls are cooled, take our your pins and run a sheen through the curls using your fingers to comb it out.

5) Finish off with a hairspray, but don’t over do it! you wouldn’t want it to look too crunchy!
