How to STOP Thinning Hair – For Women!

We know how it goes.. stress or other factors can really mess with our locks, here’s how you can stop – or even minimize thinning of your hair!
Q: Does ROGAINE Really help?!
A: Yes it potentially can! But it depends on what’s your reason for hair loss. Rogaine also known as topical minoxidil can potentially help women who have a certain type of hair loss called androgenic alopecia. This is the type of hair loss that occurs with aging. Minoxidil is thought to stimulate hair growth by increasing the blood supply that nourishes the hair follicles. It may take four to eight months to see results. DON’T FORGET TO KEEP IN MIND that if treatment with minoxidil is stopped, the scalp will revert to its previous state of hair loss.
Hmm sounding good so far? keep reading..
Side Effects can include: unwanted facial hair growth and scalp irritation. Hives/itching and swelling occasionally occur. Eye irritation can occur if the solution gets in the eyes. Excessive use of topical minoxidil can result in a drop in blood pressure also.

I heard that hair loss runs on the mothers side, do you know if that’s true? If so my son is going to lose his thick head of hair as my dad started to bald at 19.

I’ve used Rogaine for 1 year now, and I think it’s amazing! My hair loss has all but returned to normal, I haven’t had any side effects, and I think some hair may be growing better, if not re-growing.
Whilst using Rogaine, my dermatologist also recommended Nanogen, I’m so glad he did, their Nanofibres have disguised the fact that I was losing hair and starting to thin badly around my parting. I probably won’t need them any more soon, but they’ve been a great confidence boost whilst I was recovering. You can find more information on Nanofibres at http://www.nanogen.org

Rogaine is a product that my mother has to try. Her hair is getting thinner this time. Thanks for the information.
