2009 Grammy Award Fashion, Hair & Makeup Breakdown w/ Pictures!!

Carrie Underwood – American Idol winner turned country singing sensation was wearing this sleeveless number. A glittering silver/gold seeming to be the perfect fit. Her Make-up a simple smokey eye paired with a glossy peach lip and subtle peach blush. Her hair was simple pulled back with the front layers slightly showing. She looked gorgeous and her performance was beautiful!

Adele – UK newcomer and now Grammy winner is known for her hit single “chasing pavements”. Her hair was swept in a flirty side pony tail. Her eyed smokey green But overall very simple. Her dress was elegant and black with a diamond broach in the middle and she wore a silk pea-coat over her dress. No one seemed to go very extravagant, well excluding M.I.A! lol

Miley Cyrus – Teen sensation preformed with fellow teen artist Taylor Swift preforming “15″. once again we see a trend of ponytails and side swept bangs along the red carpet. She wore a one shoulder black long dress. Her lips full and peachy and her eyes, a soft rose-like color lined with a think eyeliner.

Jennifer Hudson – American Idol finalist, Oscar winner and now Grammy winner preformed a tear dropper. She wore a form fitting knee length dress topped with white ruffles along the bust. Her hair sleekly pulled back ( yes another ponytail!). Her eyes had a silvery smoked look with a soft nude lip.

Jordin Sparks – Sporting Arizona couture designer Debra Davenport, looked stunning in a sleeveless flower printed dress lined in silver but overall black. Her lips were lined with a medium brown lip liner and her eyeshadow the same hue as her lips. Very simple i wasn’t overall pleased i thought her make-up could have had a little more pizazz to it

Katy Perry – the hot new singer wore the Lebanese couture designer, Basil Soda in a bubble gum pink color strapless full length and flowing dress. Her lips matched her dress with the same pink color. Her hair short and in the 1920′s pin up waves. She looked beautiful

Kim Kardashian – reality star and celeb icon looked classy in this pearl white gown with a ruffled bow in the front. Her hair was swept tightly back. Her face Bronze, Lips subtle and lashes use with a think eyeliner line slightly extending from the sides of her eyes. Looking gorgeous as always Kim!

Leona Lewis – X-Factor winner (British version of American Idol) was rocking a halter dress tight in gold and complimented her hair and complexion beautifully. Although i didn’t like the fit on the bust area to much ( she could have found something a little more flattering) she still looked stunning. Her make-up had a bronze glow, her natural and her eyes lined from top to bottom – perfect way to bring out her beautiful green eyes

Pheobe Price – Sporting a hot pink number with black gladiator like heels. Her hair was in romantic red waves and her eyes were daring and dark. Her lips covered in a Nude/Purple hue.

Sheryl Crow – wore a wonderful blue dress which draped around her body almost like a toga. Her Blonde hair had very soft and loose waves which she wore down. Her make-up very natural. Her eyes simple – lined with black eyeliner to make her pretty light eyes pop.

Taylor Swift - wearing a similar dress to her friend and fellow artist, Miley Cyrus, Was wearing a long elegant black dress with a cut midriff (front and back). Her hair in waves and pinned back having some slightly peeking in the front for a flirty style! Her make up looked sweet and innocent with hues of pink and peaches!

M.I.A - is the funky shri-lanking soon to be momma who rocked the stage performing to “Swagga like us” on her due date! ok the outfit speaks for it self, nothing is “swaggalicious” about it. but you’ve got to admit this girl has got guts and really doesn’t care what any of us think! Her hair messy and tousled with a copper like color on the bottom and her make-up was very natural! best of luck to her !
